The White Wolves arrive at the 2026 World Cup led by Fabio Cannavaro - the il capitano of the victorious Italy team in 2006. Well, Italy aren’t here this time, but Cannavaro is with Uzbekistan, and will hope to channel some of his previous defensive glory through Manchester City’s Abdukodir Khusanov in Uzbekistan’s first foray into the World Cup Finals.

Colombia has been continuing to build as a force of South American football, and once again will rely on the magic of James Rodriguez; but the number 10 has some world-class attacking support in Bayern Munich’s Luis Díaz. Can they go one better than 2014’s run to the Quarter Finals?
